Nurses play a big part in healthcare in Ontario. Sometimes they have to read things to you. And sometimes they get you to read.

Are nurses regulated in our province, and if so, by whom? What other professions are regulated? Google and discuss with a partner.

Here are your tasks:
1. Make comments on your classmates' assignments on Monday and Tuesday, including Version 1.0 and Version 2.0 on the following for each:
a. What went well: was the meaning clear? was the pronunciation clear? how was the self-correction?
b. What could be improved: was the meaning clear? was the pronunciation clear? how was the self-correction?
2. Role play: Nurses and poor handwriting
3. A nurse hands you this burns outpatient resource. Do the following:
  1. the number of times appears: itch0,.itching5, itchy2, itchiness1
  2. Write down 2 do’s and 2 don’ts when feeling itchy.
 2 do’s: First, wash your skin daily with warm water only.
                                Second, Should prolonged itching occur, contact your occupational therapist / physiotherapist, 
                                                or speak with your doctor, as further treatment is available.
2 don’ts : First, Do not scratch.
                                     Second,  stop using the contact media.
4.State in your own words 5 steps for bathing.
1st, remove any pressure garments.
2nd, test the temperature of the water .
3rd, do a short exercise routine whilst bathing.
4th, wash gently but firmly with a wash cloth.
5th, dry gently with a clean towel
5.Write down 3 rules regarding diet.
1st, have 3 meals each day
2nd, if you are overweight, do not indulge in extra sweet and fatty foods.
3rd, if you are below healthy weight range for your height,you will need to follow a high energy/high protein diet.
